The short version
Cancel in one click, any time. If you cancel a monthly membership you are not charged again. If you cancel an annual membership within 30 days of a charge, write to us and we will refund it in full.
Monthly membership
Cancelling stops the next payment. We do not pro-rate the current month, and we do not charge a cancellation fee. Your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Annual membership
Full refund within 30 days of the charge, for any reason or none, on request to hello@cnjames.org. After 30 days we refund the unused whole months at our discretion, and we lean toward saying yes.
If something went wrong on our side
Duplicate charge, charge after a cancellation, or a charge you did not authorise: tell us and we will refund it in full, without argument and without asking you to prove anything.
What is not refundable
Fees you paid to somebody else. Examination fees go to GED Testing Service, the College Board, or Prometric, never to us, so we cannot refund them and would not be able to find them.
Your rank
A refund does not remove your rank, your marks, or your Register entry. Nothing you earned here is taken back because of a billing decision.
Before you dispute a charge
Please write to us first. We would much rather refund you directly and quickly than have a bank do it slowly on your behalf, and you will get your money back faster.
